Mark Stege is the Immediate Past President of the Marshall Islands Chamber of Commerce. He is a respected member of his community who regularly engages in economic planning with government and private sector representatives both in the Marshall Islands and Micronesian region, focusing on strategies to build local capacity, expand economic opportunities, and foster resilient growth for large ocean states. He directs a consultancy firm based in Majuro with core competencies in data-driven policy and culturally responsive practices, particularly in relation to the ocean economy and climate resilience. Mark is also deeply involved in education and the advancement of science (both Western and Indigenous) in the Pacific region.

  • Climate Resilience: Expertise in climate adaptation and conservation efforts, including water resource management.
