PIPSO joined leaders from across the Commonwealth on October 23-24, 2024, for the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF) in Apia, Samoa—marking the first time CBF has convened in the Pacific since 2011 and in a Small Island Developing State. Hosted in partnership with BSP Financial Group Ltd, this forum brought together global business leaders and governments to explore solutions under the theme “One Resilient Common Future: Transforming Our Common Wealth.”
The forum provided a platform for critical discussions on Access to Finance, Tech & Innovation, Trade, Sustainability & Resilience, and Workforce Transformation. As an essential bridge between governments and the private sector, CBF 2024 fostered unparalleled opportunities for partnership building, collaboration, and collective action to address pressing global challenges.
PIPSO was represented by participants from the Chambers and employer associations of Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Samoa, and the Solomon Islands, underscoring a shared commitment to resilience and sustainable growth across the Pacific.
