10 complete Small Business Financial training at PIPSO

Ten participants recently completed a two-day Small Business Financial Training  at the PIPSO office in Suva on 24 – 25 January 2017.

The training which is part of the PIPSO Financial Toolkit was carried out by PIPSO SME Finance Specialist Leslie Massey  to assist those wishing to undertake long-term strategic planning, cost & price their product, prepare a business plan, financially assess competing capital expenditure opportunities, know when & when not to borrow funds for expansion, gain an insight into funding from a banking point of view & how to assess the value of their business.

The Fiji Development Bank sent six of its employees to undergo the training whilst the remaining four participants were small business owners.

PIPSO will be conducting the Small Business Training (Level 1) in February 2017.
