Small Business Financial Training (Level 2)

The Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation (PIPSO) will conduct a Small Business Financial Workshop Level 2 for small businesses. This workshop builds on the knowledge gained at the Level 1 Workshop and/or assumes a basic understanding of Business Source Documents, Assets, Liabilities and Equity, the Management of Cash Flow, Debtors, Creditors and Inventory and the use of a Cash Books.

The Modules in this workshop expand the Accounting Concepts to cover Budgeting and Financial Reporting through to the Financial Statements. Strategic and Business Planning, Product Pricing and Costing and Investment Decision Making will be addressed in a Level 3 workshop to follow early in 2017.

Date: Tuesday, 13 December, to Wednesday, 14 December 2016, from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Venue: Level 1, Korobasaga House, 31 Gorrie Street, Suva, Fiji

Participants will be asked to undertake learning activities and provided with hard copy activities and exercises to do, either in a group environment, individually or both. 

Participants in the workshop are requested to bring writing materials and a basic calculator. 

A copy of the PowerPoint presentation will be provided either by email or copied to participant’s USB on request at the conclusion of the workshop. 

Cost: $80.00 per participant for the 2 days includes training materials, morning, lunch and afternoon tea.
